Plese be informed that there is a Proposed Development of a Condominium project in the Lot 46, the land next to Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang. This project is a luxurious condominium consisting 4 parcels of a 41 story Building. Please note work schedule from the Developer concerned as follows:
Site clearing and forming of building platform will last through the end of March 2005.
Work below ground which includes foundation and pile caps. Hand Bile Piling will be used which has minimum sound affect. This will take place through the end of July.
Work above ground which consists of building frame, interior and exterior fitness, fittings and M & E work will take place July 2005 to December 2005.
External infrastructure, will take place January 2006 November 2006.
As the building next door rises higher, the location of the noise will travel further away from the hotel and hotel pool.
Exterior building construction will be complete by September 2006.
